General Practitioner (Telehealth)

Role & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations with new and existing patients
• Perform appropriate clinical assessments, risk evaluation, and differential diagnosis via telehealth
• Prescribe medications only when clinically indicated, in line with TGA, AHPRA, and RACGP standards
• Develop evidence-informed, individualised management and follow-up plans
• Maintain high-quality, defensible clinical documentation and medical records
• Support continuity of care through responsible and ethical telehealth practice
• Contribute to the development of clinical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
• Practise medicine independently with full clinical judgement and professional accountability

Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• Eligibility to practise independently as a GP in Australia

Experience
• Experience practising independently as a General Practitioner
• Prior telehealth experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Exposure to weight management, peptide therapies, or medicinal cannabis is an advantage

• Excellent telehealth communication and patient engagement skills
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and shared decision-making
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote clinical environment
