About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive, culturally safe primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families
• Provide high-quality GP consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Participate in clinical governance, quality, and safety processes within the service
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of medical and health professionals
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and reflective practice
• Support holistic, community-centred models of care aligned with Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing
• Report to the Practice Manager and work closely with the Senior General Practitioner and Health Services leadership
Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Eligibility to obtain Medicare Provider Number(s) for the required locations
Experience
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in a primary care or similar clinical setting
• Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health or community health settings preferred
Salary & Benefits
• $198,000 – $275,000 per annum (pro-rata)
