About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality General Practice clinical care to patients at the university health clinic
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records including diagnoses, tests, and treatment plans
• Supervise and mentor GP Registrars, medical students, and doctors in training
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals involved in patient care
• Participate in primary care research projects and academic activities where applicable
• Represent the organisation at conferences, grand rounds, and professional forums when required
• Engage in clinical quality assurance, peer review, audits, and risk management initiatives
• Contribute to performance development meetings and continuous improvement processes

Qualification
• Specialist General Practitioner in Australia with Fellowship of RACGP or equivalent
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check
• Medical indemnity with a recognised provider
• Compliance with occupational screening, vaccination, and pre-employment checks

Experience
• Demonstrated experience working as a General Practitioner
• Experience in supervision of students, registrars, or doctors in training (desirable)
• Experience or interest in primary care research and educational activities
• Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality, and patient safety

Skills
• Strong clinical and patient-centred care skills in general practice
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
• Teaching, mentoring, and academic collaboration capability
• Clinical documentation and electronic medical record management
