General Practitioner

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across urban, suburban, and rural communities
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Deliver preventive healthcare, health promotion, and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Participate in community-centred healthcare initiatives where applicable

Qualification
• Fully qualified General Practitioner
• MRCGP (UK) or MICGP (Ireland)
• GMC or IMC registered, or eligible for Vocational or General Scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

Experience
• Relevant experience as an independent General Practitioner
• Open to UK- or Irish-trained GPs seeking permanent, fixed-term, or locum roles

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage diverse patient populations
• Excellent communication and patient-centred care approach
• Adaptability to urban, rural, or mixed community practice settings
