General Practitioner

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality general medical consultations and patient care
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, common law obligations, and practice standards
• Maintain accurate and legally compliant medical documentation
• Identify and respond to unsafe clinical practices
• Deliver patient-focused care with empathy and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with patients across diverse age groups and backgrounds
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and practice information
• Work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required
• Prioritise workload efficiently and maintain high accuracy standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities
• Represent the practice in a professional and positive manner at all times

Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical degree
• General Registration or Specialist Registration with AHPRA

Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a General Practitioner preferred
• Experience in bulk billing or mixed billing practice preferred
