General Practitioner

Role & Responsibilities
• Conduct initial patient consultations and clinical assessments for varicose vein conditions
• Perform minimally invasive vein procedures following training and established protocols
• Provide post-procedure follow-up care, including compression therapy advice and management of minor complications
• Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, risks, and expected outcomes
• Work collaboratively with skilled clinical and administrative staff
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and professional practice

Qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• VR General Practitioner with unrestricted AHPRA registration

Experience
• Demonstrated experience in procedural medicine
• Experience in minimally invasive vein procedures highly regarded
• Willingness to undertake comprehensive on-the-job training
• Availability to travel interstate advantageous

Remuneration
• $150 per consultation and $750 per procedure (after training)
• Typical earnings range from $2,000 to $5,000 per day
• Hourly equivalent: $250 – $375 per hour

Work Type
• Flexible: 2 days per week (ongoing)

Training & Support
• Comprehensive on-the-job training in Sydney CBD
• Flights and accommodation provided for interstate candidates
• Ongoing clinical and administrative support

Skills
• Strong procedural and clinical assessment skills
• Patient-focused approach with excellent communication abilities
• Confidence working in a private, non-Medicare billing environment
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Interest in expanding procedural skillsets and private practice work
