Job Description
Mawarnkarra Health Service is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) to join its Clinical Services Team in Roebourne within the Pilbara region. The GP will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services through clinic consultations, community outreach programs, and telehealth services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Responsibilities
• Deliver culturally safe and trauma-informed primary healthcare services
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide chronic disease management, care planning, and preventive healthcare
• Work closely with Aboriginal Health Workers and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in clinical governance, peer review, and risk management activities
• Use digital health systems and electronic medical records for patient care
• Contribute to health promotion and community engagement initiatives
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs
Required Qualification
Medical degree with fellowship in General Practice.
Important Requirements
• Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Willingness to relocate to the Pilbara region
• Valid Australian driver’s licence
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Employment Options
• Full-time role with a 37.5-hour work week
• Monday to Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 4:45 PM)
• Opportunity to work in clinic, outreach, and telehealth settings
