General Practitioner (GP)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive general practice care, including consultations, diagnosis, and treatment
• Deliver immunisations and preventive healthcare services
• Maintain strong, long-term, and trusting relationships with patients
• Work collaboratively with fellow GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Uphold high standards of clinical integrity, ethics, and professional practice
• Manage effective relationships with internal teams and external healthcare stakeholders
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with Australian healthcare standards

Qualification
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (preferred)
• Current registration with AHPRA

Experience
• Prior experience working as a General Practitioner
• Experience in Australian general practice settings preferred
• DPA-suitable position for overseas-trained GPs under moratorium

Skills
• Strong clinical competence in general practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Patient-focused approach to care delivery
