Roles & Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions including restorative, preventive, and basic surgical procedures
• Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, root canal treatments, extractions, scaling, polishing, and prosthetic care
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive dental care, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care when required
• Supervise and guide dental assistants and supporting staff
• Handle dental emergencies efficiently and professionally
• Ensure ethical practice and high standards of patient care at all times
Skills Required
• Strong clinical expertise in dentistry, especially post-MDS specialization
• Excellent diagnostic and procedural skills
• Effective communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Organizational and record-keeping skills
Qualifications
• MDS (Master of Dental Surgery)
Experience After Qualification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience after MDS
