Role & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage diseases of the GI tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder (e.g., GERD,     IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis)
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy,   ERCP, EUS, Capsule Endoscopy)
• Conduct interventions such as polypectomy, biopsy, stricture dilation, and variceal   banding
• Interpret findings from endoscopic and imaging studies
• Develop long-term management plans for chronic GI conditions
• Provide hepatology care for patients with liver diseases
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for GI cancers

Qualifications

• MBBS followed by Post-Graduate degree (MD/DM/DNB in Gastroenterology)
• Valid SCFHS license

Experience

• 3–5 years of post-specialization experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in a wide range of endoscopic procedures

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of hepatology
• Strong clinical reasoning and procedural expertise
