Faculty Assistant (Sports Physiotherapy)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions related to sports science and physiotherapy
• Assist in teaching academic subjects across ISST’s sports education programs
• Support the conduct of assessments, evaluations, and practical demonstrations
• Assist in gym-based training, laboratory work, field sessions, and sports testing protocols
• Demonstrate injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and performance enhancement methods
• Ensure proper setup, safety, and readiness of equipment for academic and practical sessions
• Mentor and guide students during practicals, assignments, and academic projects
• Support students during internships, research work, and field exposure activities
• Address student queries related to course curriculum and real-world application
• Assist senior faculty with academic coordination, attendance tracking, and session documentation
• Maintain academic records and assist in reporting and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure smooth execution of programs

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of sports physiotherapy and sports science concepts
• Ability to teach and demonstrate practical and theoretical subjects effectively
• Good communication and mentoring skills
• Hands-on experience with gym, lab, and field-based training environments
• Organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or relevant sports science discipline (required)

Experience After Qualification

• Freshers or candidates with academic/clinical exposure may apply
• Prior experience in sports physiotherapy, teaching, or training environments is an advantage

Language Requirements

• English and Hindi (required)

Work Requirements

• Willingness to work on Saturdays
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate
