Exercise Specialist (Obesity & Metabolic Care)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform functional and movement assessments for patients with obesity and metabolic conditions
• Assess patients with diabetes, PCOS, limited mobility, and related conditions
• Design individualized exercise and activity plans based on patient capacity and comorbidities
• Prescribe safe, joint-friendly exercise programs
• Demonstrate walking-based treadmill exercises
• Guide patients on stationary cycling and cross-trainer-based exercises
• Instruct light resistance and home-gym exercise routines
• Educate patients on correct posture, form, and exercise technique
• Guide patients on exercise intensity, progression, and safety
• Develop and explain home-based exercise programs
• Maintain clear and concise patient documentation
• Coordinate exercise plans with the treating endocrinologist
• Support patient education and lifestyle modification programs when required

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or relevant exercise science field
• Recognised qualification in India

Experience
• Experience in exercise planning – preferred
• Exposure to obesity, metabolic, or lifestyle-related care – preferred
• Freshers with strong interest may apply
