Exercise Physiologist
About the Role
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a portfolio of clients with physical injuries and psychological disorders
• Conduct initial assessments to understand injuries, recovery timelines, and return-to-work goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized rehabilitation plans
• Visit workplaces to assess environments and identify suitable duties during recovery
• Provide recommendations for community assistance and insurer-supported services
• Conduct motivational interviews and influence stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective case management
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance reports
• Apply clinical judgment to support clients in achieving a safe return to work
QUALIFICATION:
• Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Exercise Physiology
• General Registration with AHPRA or ESSA
EXPERIENCE:
• Open to New Graduates and Experienced professionals
SKILLS:
• Strong rehabilitation and clinical assessment expertise
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Excellent communication and motivational interviewing skills
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and case management abilities
