At APDM Pharmaceuticals, the Executive / Sr. Executive – Production (Packaging) plays a key operational role in ensuring that primary and secondary packaging processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with regulatory guidelines at the Sakodara, Gujarat facility.
Job Description
APDM Pharmaceuticals is seeking experienced professionals with 5 to 7 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience. The selected candidate will supervise packaging line operations, manage documentation, ensure labeling accuracy, and maintain compliance with GMP standards.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in packaging machinery, batch record review, and coordination with QA and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities
• Supervise packaging line operations as per approved batch plan
• Ensure correct packaging materials and labeling are used
• Review and maintain batch packaging records (BPR)
• Monitor packaging machine performance and efficiency
• Handle line clearance and reconciliation activities
• Coordinate with QA for in-process checks and approvals
• Ensure compliance with GMP and serialization requirements
• Manage manpower allocation across packaging shifts
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in packaging areas
• Support internal and external audits
Required Qualifications
• 5 to 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging
• Strong understanding of primary and secondary packaging operations
• Experience in line clearance, reconciliation, and documentation
• Knowledge of GMP and packaging compliance standards
• Exposure to audit and inspection processes
Educational Requirements
• B.Sc / M.Sc – Preferred
• B.Pharm / M.Pharm – Preferred
• Strong academic background in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences
Experience and Skills
• Hands-on experience with packaging machinery
• Knowledge of blister, strip, bottle, or carton packaging (as applicable)
• Strong documentation and reconciliation skills
• Understanding of serialization and labeling controls
• Team handling and shift supervision capability
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
• Familiarity with ERP or packaging planning systems
