Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Deliver independent, high-level primary contact (FPOC) and secondary contact musculoskeletal physiotherapy services
• Provide advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy leadership across Logan emergency and minor injury clinics
• Lead the development of clinical practices, procedures, and innovative service delivery models
• Provide expert clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams across Emergency and Outpatient services
• Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists and allied health assistants
• Support workforce capability, succession planning, and service-wide skill development
• Work across a seven-day roster to meet service demands
Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Experience:
• Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and emergency physiotherapy
• Experience in Primary Contact or First Point of Contact (FPOC) models of care
• Proven leadership experience in mentoring and supervising clinicians
• Postgraduate qualifications or significant expertise in Musculoskeletal, Sports, or Emergency Physiotherapy highly regarded
