Emergency Nurse

Role & Responsibilities
• Rapidly assess and triage patients presenting with critical and emergency conditions
• Administer life-saving medications and treatments according to established emergency protocols
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status using advanced monitoring equipment to detect early deterioration
• Collaborate closely with physicians, paramedics, and allied healthcare teams to deliver coordinated emergency care
• Provide emotional support and clear education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Participate in emergency response drills, mock codes, and ongoing training programs
• Implement strict infection control and safety measures within the emergency department
• Assist in managing emergency department workflow to optimize patient flow and reduce waiting times
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in emergency nursing

Qualification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred

Experience
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in emergency or critical care nursing
• Experience working in high-acuity emergency department settings is preferred

Skills
• Strong technical proficiency in emergency medical equipment including defibrillators and ventilators
• Ability to remain calm and make rapid clinical decisions in high-pressure environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage
• Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and a compassionate patient-centred approach
