About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide quality clinical care in the Emergency Department through appropriate assessment, investigation, management, and communication in consultation with Emergency Physicians or senior registrars
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with Western Health policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
• Ensure timely patient disposition in line with National Emergency Access Targets and hospital KPIs
• Communicate effectively with community providers for patients discharged from the Emergency Department
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary emergency team
• Participate in education, supervision, and professional development activities

Qualification
• Medical qualification recognised in Victoria, Australia
• Current General Registration or eligibility for Provisional Registration with AHPRA (minimum supervision Level 2 if limited registration)

Experience
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
• Ideally 2+ years clinical experience in Australia or a comparable health system
• Minimum 3 months experience in an Emergency Department (preferred)
• Interest in pursuing Emergency Medicine as a career

• Strong clinical assessment and emergency management skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
• Team collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Compliance with Criminal History Check and Evidence of Vaccination requirements
