DHA Pharmacy Manager - Outpatient
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations across multiple GluCare clinics, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant dispensing practices
• Standardize pharmacy workflows, SOPs, and quality standards across all facilities
• Monitor service levels, turnaround times, stock availability, and patient satisfaction
• Support facility-level pharmacy teams to ensure consistent performance and adherence to GluCare standards
• Ensure compliance with DHA, MOHAP, and applicable international pharmacy regulations
• Lead audit preparation, inspections, licensing activities, and maintain regulatory documentation
• Work closely with Pharmacists-in-Charge to ensure patient safety and regulatory adherence
• Manage, coach, and develop pharmacy teams across locations, including staffing plans, rotas, and performance reviews
• Support onboarding, training, and competency assessments for pharmacy staff
• Oversee procurement, inventory planning, stock optimization, and wastage reduction
• Monitor margins, cost control, supplier performance, and financial reporting
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams on budgeting and cost optimization initiatives
• Support setup and operational readiness of new pharmacy services, including international locations
• Contribute to scalable pharmacy models, SOPs, and operating frameworks for global rollout
• Liaise with external suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders in new markets
• Work closely with Clinical, Operations, Finance, Insurance, IT, and Supply Chain teams
• Ensure pharmacy operations align with clinical pathways and patient care models
• Provide regular updates on risks, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
• Support hospital infection control programs to ensure patient and staff safety
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (mandatory)
• Valid DHA Pharmacist License
Experience
• 5–8 years of overall pharmacy experience
• Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or multi-site pharmacy role
• Experience in hospital, clinic, or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Exposure to multi-facility operations, healthcare scaling, or international expansion preferred
Skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to manage multiple facilities simultaneously
• Excellent knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance, and audits
• Experience with healthcare accreditations, especially JCIA
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Financial acumen with margin and cost management capability
• Strategic mindset with strong operational execution
• Adaptability to support international growth initiatives
