About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide medical care and treatment to port employees and their families
• Conduct medical examinations and diagnose various health conditions
• Supervise and manage the port’s medical facilities and healthcare services
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at the port
• Lead and mentor medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and support staff
• Monitor the health and well-being of port workers, particularly for occupational health risks
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure data confidentiality
• Provide first aid and emergency medical services when needed
• Participate in health education and awareness programs for port worker
Qualifications
• MBBS, MD/MS, or Post-graduation in a relevant medical field
• Valid medical license
• Experience in a leadership role in a medical facility or port/industrial health setting is preferred
Skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Ability to manage and lead a medical team effectively
• Good communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
• Proficiency in maintaining medical records
