Job Description

IUIH is hiring a full-time Dentist to work with ATSICHS Member Services in Caboolture, Brisbane. The selected candidate will provide clinical dental care, oral health education, and training services to clients. The role includes working from primary clinic locations as well as participating in outreach services as needed, ensuring care aligns with national ethical, legal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care including diagnosis, assessment, treatment, and repairs
• Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications when required
• Deliver oral health education and guidance on diet and preventive practices
• Assist in developing and implementing oral health promotion, education, and awareness programs
• Ensure dental care is delivered in accordance with national ethical, legal, and professional standards
• Participate in outreach services to support Indigenous communities

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent)
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Professional Medical Indemnity Insurance
• Current Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence
