Responsibilities
• Design, fabricate, modify, and repair dental prosthetics and appliances, including crowns, bridges, dentures, mouthguards, splints, and orthodontic appliances
• Interpret and follow written and digital dental prescriptions, impressions, intra-oral scans, and treatment plans provided by dentists
• Select, handle, and work with dental materials such as ceramics, acrylics, metals, zirconia, and composites
• Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all prosthetic work meets functional, aesthetic, infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance standards
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure prostheses meet clinical and patient requirements
• Maintain accurate case records, production documentation, and material traceability
• Comply with workplace health and safety, infection control, and Australian dental and regulatory standards

Required Qualification
• Relevant qualification in dental technology or a related field (Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent)

Educational Requirement
• Certificate IV / Diploma / Equivalent in Dental Technology

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Technician
• Experience in fixed and/or removable prosthetics
