Dental Assistant/Receptionist
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform reception duties including patient check-in, scheduling, and communication
• Provide chairside assisting for both Paediatric and Periodontics treatments, including consults and charting
• Handle sterilisation of instruments and maintenance of infection control standards
• Work collaboratively with the dental team while also managing tasks independently
• Support smooth workflow and patient experience within the clinic
Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting
• Current Working With Children Check
• Police Clearance
Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience
• Prior knowledge of Dental4Windows preferred but not essential
• Interest in learning surgical procedures
Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Organisational skills and attention to detail
• Adaptable to a multidisciplinary dental environment
