Dental Assistant
About the Role
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage front desk reception and coordinate patient appointments
• Handle bookings, enquiries, payments, and health fund claims
• Deliver a warm, professional experience as the first point of contact for patients
• Provide chairside dental assisting support when required
• Assist with daily centre operations and maintain smooth patient flow
• Collaborate closely with clinicians, administrative staff, and the Centre Leader
QUALIFICATION:
• High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certification in medical/dental administration is advantageous)
EXPERIENCE:
• Prior experience in medical or dental reception/administration (essential)
• Dental assisting experience or exposure preferred but not mandatory
SKILLS:
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• High attention to detail with a professional attitude
• Customer-focused approach with reliability and flexibility
