Decision Analytics Associate Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities
• Engage with clients and internal ZS teams to understand scientific questions and translate them into actionable insights
• Apply scientific methodology to develop and test hypotheses using research and analytical approaches
• Provide data-driven analyses and strategic recommendations for client projects
• Demonstrate strong understanding of drug discovery, pre-clinical studies, animal models, and early development processes
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technology-driven scientific and computational biology projects
• Support development of tools, research platforms, data models, and data lakes
• Collaborate with technology teams to build scalable research solutions
• Synthesize research findings and present clear recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Guide and mentor Associates within project teams
• Maintain a strong client-first mindset and collaborative approach

Qualification
• Advanced degree (PhD/Master’s) in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related scientific discipline preferred

Experience
• Experience in wet lab research, protocol development, and scientific experimentation
• Exposure to drug discovery and early-stage R&D processes
• Experience working on cross-functional or data-driven scientific projects preferred

Skills
• Strong analytical and hypothesis-driven problem-solving ability
• In-depth understanding of drug discovery and pre-clinical research
• Knowledge of research data systems, computational biology, and scientific data analysis
• Ability to communicate complex scientific findings clearly
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English with strong presentation abilities
• Mentoring and leadership capability
