Consultant Urogynecologist

Role & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive care for urogynecologic conditions including urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
• Lead outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and postoperative follow-up.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopic, vaginal, and robotic (da Vinci Xi) surgeries.
• Provide inpatient coverage and coordinate multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Participate in ObGyn services, hospital performance, safety, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications
• MBBS with Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Board Certification and Fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensure.

Experience
• 10–12 years of relevant post-training experience.
• Proven expertise in minimally invasive and robotic urogynecologic surgery.

Skills
• Advanced surgical skills in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive procedures.
• Strong clinical judgement and patient-centred communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
