Consultant Psychiatrist

Role & Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders across adult and adolescent populations
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications as per clinical guidelines
• Provide psychotherapy and counselling where appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols

Qualification
• MBBS from a recognised medical institution
• Doctorate Degree in Psychiatry or Arab Board of Psychiatry
• Relevant medical licensure as per Bahrain regulatory requirements

Experience
• 3 to 10 years of experience after postgraduate qualification
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting in Bahrain preferred
