Consultant - Nephrologist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases
• Formulate individualized treatment plans using evidence-based nephrology practices
• Manage dialysis services including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
• Oversee renal replacement therapy ensuring patient safety and quality standards
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic renal care
• Provide expert consultation for complex nephrology cases
• Educate patients and families on renal health, treatment options, and lifestyle modification
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical staff
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to nephrology advancements
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualification
• MD or equivalent medical degree
• Specialization in Nephrology
• Board certification in Nephrology mandatory

Experience
• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical nephrology experience preferred

Skills
• Strong expertise in nephrology and renal medicine
• Experience with advanced renal replacement therapies
• Knowledge of current nephrology guidelines and research
• Proficiency with electronic health records and telemedicine systems
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
