About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Plan and administer systemic therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, and targeted therapy.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Monitor treatment response, manage complications, and adjust therapy as required.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Ensure safe handling and administration of cytotoxic and biological agents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education (CME).
• Follow institutional protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Qualification
• MBBS, MD in Medical Oncology.
Experience
• 5 - 8 years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology.
