Consultant General Surgeon

Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health and surgical risks
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, open and minimally invasive surgeries
• Develop and implement individualized surgical care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery and manage complications
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety and quality standards
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and support junior medical staff where required

Qualification
• Doctor of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery or equivalent medical degree
• Completion of a recognised surgical residency program
• Board certification in General Surgery

Experience
• 2–8 years of relevant clinical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital or clinical surgical practice preferred
• Experience in a consultant or senior surgical role preferred
