Consultant General Surgeon

Role & Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients and advise on surgical options and associated risks
• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures following best practices
• Prepare patients for surgery and provide pre-operative counselling
• Lead and perform surgical operations while ensuring patient safety
• Prescribe and manage pre-operative and post-operative care plans
• Ensure sterility of operating rooms, equipment, and surgical instruments
• Oversee patient care before and after surgery and manage complications
• Coordinate and supervise medical and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Plan and implement disease prevention and health promotion programs
• Adhere strictly to regulatory, ethical, and hospital clinical protocols

Qualification
• MBBS with specialization in General Surgery
• Relevant training and certification as a General Surgeon
• Valid medical license eligible for practice in the UAE

Experience
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a General Surgeon
• Experience working in hospital or multi-specialty healthcare settings preferred
