Consultant Gastroenterologist

Role & Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Conduct EUS and ERCP procedures as part of routine clinical practice
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients
• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols

Qualification
• MBBS from a recognised medical institution
• MD with DM or DNB in Gastroenterology
• Relevant medical licensure as per Bahrain regulatory requirements

Experience
• 4 to 9 years of total experience
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience after postgraduate qualification
• Mandatory experience in EUS and ERCP
• Experience working in Bahrain preferred

• Strong clinical expertise in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in EUS and ERCP procedures
• Diagnostic and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
