Consultant Cardiologist

Role & Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients through clinical examinations, medical history, and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose and manage disorders of the cardiovascular and circulatory system
• Perform and interpret exercise stress tests, echocardiograms, imaging studies, and cardiac catheterizations
• Analyze diagnostic test results and establish accurate diagnoses
• Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, lifestyle modification, and therapy
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response and compliance
• Set patient goals and define timelines for treatment and recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons and other specialists for advanced cardiac interventions
• Advise and assist with cardiac surgical procedures when required
• Monitor and manage post-surgical cardiac patients
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including progress notes and treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, recovery, and long-term cardiac health
• Conduct or contribute to clinical research and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science discipline
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent qualification
• Completion of accredited cardiology residency and fellowship program
• Valid medical license eligible for practice in the UAE

Experience
• Proven clinical experience as a Consultant Cardiologist
• Experience in hospital or multi-specialty healthcare environments preferred
