Community Aged Care Physiotherapist
About the Role
Roles and responsibilities:
• Provide holistic physiotherapy services to community-based in-home aged care clients
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for elderly clients
• Travel across Greater Sydney to deliver physiotherapy services as required
• Collaborate with senior physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with APHRA standards
• Mentor and guide junior staff or physiotherapy assistants as needed
• Uphold professional standards, ethical practices, and client safety
Qualification:
• Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT or equivalent)
• APHRA registration and professional insurance
• Valid Driver’s Licence
Experience:
• Experience in aged care physiotherapy preferred
• Recent graduates or professionals with limited registration are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to travel to multiple client locations
Skills:
• Strong clinical assessment and physiotherapy intervention skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team collaboration and client-centered care approach
