Clinical Trials Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct supervised patient visits including ECGs and collection/processing of laboratory specimens
• Dispense and prepare clinical trial medications in accordance with study protocols
• Manage investigational drug supply, storage, accountability, and clinic inventory
• Coordinate clinic schedules and trial visit windows to ensure strict protocol compliance
• Liaise with Sponsors, clinical research associates, on-site monitors, referring doctors and third-party vendors
• Support patients on complex treatment programs including biologics
• Communicate with PBS and pharmaceutical representatives as required
• Assist with participant screening and recruitment for clinical trials
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance in line with GCP standards
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary, patient-focused clinical research environment

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Current unconditional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience
• Experience in community or hospital pharmacy preferred
• Exposure to clinical trials, biologics, or research environments desirable
• Experience with dispensary and inventory management systems

Skills
• Strong clinical knowledge and dispensing accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of computer literacy and data entry accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn clinical research processes
