About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Review and validate medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
• Monitor drug therapy and provide clinical recommendations to physicians
• Identify and prevent drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical rounds and patient care discussions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, MOH regulations, and clinical pharmacy standards
• Maintain proper documentation of clinical interventions and patient records
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and rational drug use initiatives
Qualification
• B.Pharm (Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy) / M.Pharm (Master's degree in Pharmacy) / PharmD (Diploma in Pharmacy)
Experience
• 3–6 years of experience in clinical pharmacy
Mandatory Requirement
• MOH Evaluation (UAE)
Skills
• Strong clinical pharmacology knowledge
• Ability to interpret lab results and patient case histories
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary coordination skills
• Attention to detail and patient safety focus
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy systems and protocols
