About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Review and evaluate patient medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
• Provide clinical pharmacy support and expert advice to physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
• Apply pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics principles to optimize drug therapy and dosing
• Monitor patient responses to medications and recommend therapy adjustments when required
• Identify, prevent, and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
• Educate patients and healthcare professionals on safe medication use and potential side effects
• Participate in developing and implementing hospital policies for medication safety and storage
• Maintain accurate records of medication histories, dispensing, and clinical interventions
• Stay updated with new drugs, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD, Clinical Diploma, or American Board certification preferred
• Valid work license required
Experience
• Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
• Giza residency preferred
Skills
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, and drug–dose relationships
• Ability to assess medication therapy and clinical outcomes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and patient safety focus
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy regulations and best practices
