Clinical Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications
• Monitor and document Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
• Ensure compliance with hospital medication safety policies and protocols
• Prepare and process medicine indents based on consumption patterns
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and fast/slow-moving inventory
• Coordinate with the stores/procurement department for timely replenishment
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Hospital Information System (HIS) / ERP
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications as per regulatory guidelines
• Conduct regular audits including stock, billing, narcotics, and documentation audits
• Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and other regulatory/accreditation standards
• Review drug utilization reports and identify discrepancies
• Prepare and maintain audit documentation and compliance reports
• Maintain controlled drug records in line with legal requirements

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) / Pharm D
• Registration with the Pharmacy Council (mandatory)

Experience
• 1–5 years of hospital pharmacy experience (Freshers may also apply)
• Experience in hospital indenting and internal auditing (preferred)
• Knowledge of NABH/JCI standards (preferred)
• Familiarity with HIS or ERP systems

• Analytical ability with reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and hospital software systems
