About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead a portfolio of clinical studies or programs with full functional, administrative, and financial oversight from start-up through close-out
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and cross-functional teams
• Provide support and coaching to the Data Management (DM) team to ensure deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
• Develop and implement study-specific training for DM project staff
• Independently review DM deliverables in line with CDM guidelines
• Monitor project risks, evaluate mitigation strategies, and manage financial deliverables
• Participate in bid preparation, bid defense meetings, and client development activities
• Forecast project hours, manage resources, track budgets, and identify out-of-scope work
• Participate in contract modification processes where required
• Support development and implementation of CDM processes, procedures, and training initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and budget
• Ensure inspection-ready outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements and global SOPs
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic qualification
Experience
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in Clinical Data Management
• Experience working with RAVE / Veeva EDC systems
• Experience managing study portfolios and client-facing responsibilities
