About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to patients within the Local Health District
• Review, dispense, and manage medications in accordance with hospital policies
• Participate in clinical ward rounds and multidisciplinary care planning
• Deliver medication counselling and patient education
• Ensure compliance with NSW Health policies and medication safety standards
• Contribute to quality improvement and sustainable healthcare initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience
• Suitable for Pharmacist Grade 1 or Grade 2 level
• Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
Skills
• Strong clinical and therapeutic knowledge
• Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication and patient counselling skills
• Sound knowledge of medication safety and regulatory compliance
• Adaptability within rural and regional healthcare settings
