About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Generate prescriptions and promote Merck’s product portfolio to doctors
• Achieve secondary sales targets through effective territory management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) including physicians, endocrinologists, and cardiologists
• Ensure 100% implementation of company sales and marketing strategies
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide product information
• Maintain accurate daily call reports and sales data
• Perform Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities including collection and reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs)
• Report ADRs and lack of efficacy cases to the local Patient Safety team within 24 hours
Qualification
• Any Graduate (B.Sc / B.Pharm /B.com / B.A or equivalent)
Experience
• Freshers can apply
• 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred
Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good product knowledge and presentation skills
• Target-oriented with strong sales aptitude
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships
• Basic understanding of Pharmacovigilance reporting
• Willingness to work in field-based sales role
