Biologics Senior Product Specialist
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop account strategy and plans to improve the positioning of AZ's Biologics products at a local level.
• Work with Sales, Franchise Manager, and CFT to develop local strategies and business plans to meet targets.
• Conduct market & competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
• Develop and allocate resources for optimal sales impact and monitor business plans to direct resources to customers of the greatest potential.
• Participate in promotional activity programs to increase product awareness and establish AstraZeneca as a strategic partner with key institutes.
• Engage Biologics users in discussions about product efficacy, safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing.
• Establish and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with stakeholders, sharing insights to strengthen activities like product development and marketing.
• Continuously update customer segmentation and database records in Veeva.
• Deliver key promotional messages in alignment with marketing strategies and the AstraZeneca Code of Conduct.
• Expand customer base by developing new Bio-users.
• Submit monthly reports, comment on deviations from business plans, and ensure synchronization with ETMS Veeva.
• Monitor sales transactions to detect potential irregularities.
• Build and enhance knowledge about AZ's Biologics products and value proposition across relevant healthcare stakeholders.
• Conduct science-based discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) as per approved indications.
• Coordinate workshops and speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs.
• Support central pharmacists and nurses with relevant training.
• Drive sales performance, ensuring that sales goals and forecasts are met while adhering to assigned budgets.
• Promote AZ’s Biologics brands using fair balance messages and appropriate promotional tools.
• Ensure AZ’s products are optimally used in line with national and local guidelines.
• Implement sales strategy, tactics, and TAP (Account action plan) in accordance with company policies.
• Facilitate the enlistment of newly launched and key products in accounts within agreed timelines.
Qualification
• Any Graduation
Experience
• 2 - 7 Years
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in biologics
• Proven experience in account management and sales in the pharmaceutical sector
