About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed patient consultations including medical history, physical examination, and pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha)
• Identify root causes of ailments based on Ayurvedic principles and patient constitution (Prakriti)
• Develop personalised treatment plans using herbal medicines (Rasayana), diet plans (Pathya), and lifestyle modifications (Vihara)
• Prescribe appropriate Ayurvedic formulations including herbal medicines, oils, and classical preparations
• Administer and supervise Panchakarma therapies such as Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to Ayurvedic treatment protocols
• Educate patients on preventive care and long-term wellness practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Qualification
• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognised institution
• Valid licence to practise Ayurveda medicine
• Eligibility to practise Ayurveda in the UAE
Experience
• 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience in Ayurveda practice
• Hands-on experience in Panchakarma therapies is preferred
Skills
• Strong knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts including Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, and Ashtanga Hridayam
• Expertise in Ayurvedic diagnosis and holistic treatment planning
• Good patient communication and counselling skills
• Ability to work independently in a clinical environment
