Asst. Manager/ Manager - F&D

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage formulation development of new or existing products for ROW/regulated markets, including Oral Solids (tablets & capsules) – IR, sustained-release, extended-release, bilayer tablets, and external preparations such as gels, pastes, creams, and ointments
• Lead a team of FDL Officers, Technicians, and workers by planning and executing each project, including theoretical formulation, pre-formulation studies, trials, optimization, stability studies, and scale-up batches
• Conduct technical research and intellectual searches to develop cost-effective, stable formulations, staying updated on current trends, practices, developments, and regulatory changes, and implement process improvements accordingly
• Provide continuous guidance and training to formulators, assistants, and technicians, resolving technical issues and driving timely completion of investigations affecting the technical scope
• Coordinate effectively with ADL, Production, QC, and QA teams to ensure successful commercialization of developed products; interact with API manufacturers, CROs, and CMOs as required
• Provide project-wise status updates to management as needed
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management

Qualification:
• B.Pharm or M.Pharm in Pharmacy or a related discipline

Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, preferably in oral solids and external preparations
• Proven experience in leading formulation development projects and teams

Skills:
• Strong knowledge of formulation development, pre-formulation, and scale-up processes
• Excellent leadership, project management, and coordination skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, ROW/regulated markets, and GMP-compliant processes
