Associate Lecturer / Lecturer Occupational Therapy

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality teaching in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) program (on-campus and online).
• Coordinate academic units and supervise undergraduate and honours students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Participate in research aligned with School priorities.
• Engage with industry partners and contribute to professional and community initiatives.
• Support broader school and university academic activities.

Qualification:
• Registration (or eligibility) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
• For Lecturer (Academic B): Master’s degree or PhD in Occupational Therapy or related discipline.

Experience:
• Demonstrated ability (or willingness to develop capability) in tertiary teaching and student supervision.
• Understanding of professional and educational issues in Occupational Therapy.
• For Lecturer level: Proven research and scholarship record, including peer-reviewed publications.

Skills:
• Strong teaching and mentoring capability.
• Ability to coordinate and deliver multi-modal (online and on-campus) education.
• Industry engagement and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence and student-centred learning.
