Assistant Dental Surgeon

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients for dental treatment
• Sterilize and deliver instruments, select, mix, and place materials
• Assist dentists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and arranging lighting
• Take and develop X-rays for diagnostic purposes
• Take impressions and create models of patients’ teeth
• Fabricate temporary restorations to maintain patient appearance and masticatory ability
• Handle dental emergencies, maintain CPR certification, and manage emergency supplies
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care

QUALIFICATION:
• BDS / Diploma in Dental Assistance (or equivalent)

EXPERIENCE:
• Fresher / Prior experience preferred but not mandatory

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
• Infection control and sterilization practices
• Dental assisting skills and patient handling
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
