Neurological Rehabilitation Group is seeking a passionate Allied Health Assistant to join its collaborative rehabilitation team in Mount Waverley, Melbourne. This role involves supporting physiotherapists and exercise physiologists in delivering individualized therapy programs to clients with neurological and vestibular conditions. Responsibilities
• Assist clinicians during joint treatment sessions
• Support group therapy classes including Ataxia, Running, Parkinson’s, Balance, Fitness, and Pilates programs
• Deliver one-on-one exercise programs under clinician supervision
• Assist with administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the rehabilitation clinic
• Facilitate exercise programs for adults with intellectual disabilities at community centers
• Support hydrotherapy sessions where required
• Help maintain a supportive and engaging rehabilitation environment for patients
Required Qualification
• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification (highly desirable)
Important Requirements
• Previous experience assisting in an allied health or rehabilitation setting
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
