Job Description
North West Hospital and Health Service is hiring an Advanced Allied Health Assistant for a full-time position in Mount Isa. The role involves providing clinical and operational support across multiple allied health disciplines, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, dietetics, psychology, podiatry, and pharmacy. The assistant will work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver delegated treatments, patient education, and support services across inpatient, outpatient, and community healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
• Provide clinical and operational support across multiple allied health disciplines

Required Qualification

• Current C Class Motor Vehicle Licence
• Blue Card clearance as required under the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000
• Successful completion of Criminal History Check
• Evidence of vaccination or immunity including Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis
• Ability to perform duties aligned with training and competency levels
