Caremore Malmsbury Pharmacy is a proudly independent Pharmacy and is located at central Victoria, the Pharmacy is approximately 65km from Bendigo and about 95km from Melbourne. Malmsbury Pharmacy is part of the Victorian Community Pharmacist Statewide Pilot program providing Oral Contraceptive, Urinary tract Infection treatment, Travel Health vaccination and Minor Skin condition treatments. Our Pharmacy Assistant won the Victorian Pharmacy assistant of the year (PATY) 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a country side pharmacy. As an Intern Pharmacist, you will be involved in all aspects of pharmacy operations, from patient care to dispensing medications, and will have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with prescriptions in/out and dispensing

Provide patient counselling and advice on the safe use of medications and over-the-counter products

Engage in clinical services such as Meds Checks and vaccination programs

Ordering and unpacking Dispensary stock

Inventory control and Dose Administration Aid (DAA) Packing

Requirements:

Holder of a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent

Be provisionally registered with AHPRA or eligible to apply for registration by early 2025

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer care

Eye for detail and accuracy

Retail Pharmacy experience is advantageous

Strong communication skills and excellent customer service

Dedicated work ethics and Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Ability to work well in a team and take initiatives as required
