Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing Medications: Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.
  • Patient Counseling: Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage instructions to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmaceutical inventory to ensure the availability of essential medications while minimizing waste.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers to review prescriptions, suggest alternatives, and provide expert advice on medication therapies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all pharmacy laws, standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to verify the accuracy and quality of dispensed medications and documentation.
  • Health Promotion: Participate in community health initiatives, providing guidance on preventive care and wellness.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy or a related field (Pharm.D. preferred).
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid pharmacist license in Saudi Arabia or be eligible for licensure.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (hospital or retail preferred).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Attributes: Empathetic, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
